Historical house designs are easy to spot when we are out and about.  When we think to look, similar homes are in almost every American city and town.

At the end of World War II, young families built homes as soon as the soldier / husbands returned to civilian life and found jobs in the booming economy.

Residential home construction had never been seen at such levels before. 

Limited family budgets set the parameters for house prices and consequently the home designs.that could be built for a $60 to $75 per month home payment.
