The Calliope Your Grandparents Remember

There may be one or two folks who are olde enough to remember a Calliope in a circus or other public entertainment, but most folks don’t know what they were.

Calliope’s produced a very unique sound that was ingrained in to the brain of everyone who ever heard one.   Just a few bars of music would tell the full story to attend the coming attraction.  It was universally understood. 

The sound of a calliope even turns up in ‘haunted’ locations regularly witnessing sound of the past whether they are embedded energy in the building or are actually from the spirit world.

Advertisers have clambered to achieve the phenomena of its marketing ever since.
