Henry Ford’s invention of the assembly line not only resulted in products with consistent quality, but they were also relatively inexpensive.   Capturing the cumulative savings from the system let Ford Motor Co., sell Model “T” automobiles to a large percentage of the households in America.

We know today who won the price war between the Ford and Durant motor companies.
