Property Maps in Genealogy Research

Property maps are always a great resource for genealogists.  It seems like I’ve spent an inordinate number of hours perusing through city an county property maps in search of my ancestors over the years.  While the quest sometimes fails, I usually enjoy success and find the location of my ancestors property.

The below property map is for Ten-Mile northeast of Macon, Missouri.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
