A cousin and I have been working on our common ancestry during the past few
weeks. One of the books we needed to review was “John Rogers of Marshfield and some of his descendants”.
He had to travel to a LDS branch Family History Library in Los Angeles County to read it and I would have had an even longer drive in my area to get to a library copy. Fortunately, I thought to check for it on Google Books and it was there.
Now both of us are talking about what we are seeing in the book via a video chat while following on source leads to fully validate the data we are viewing in the book. ‘Once again, Google is our very good genealogy friend.
