Having famous ancestors is always a boon for genealogists regardless if their fame
came from good deed or bad. Their names on either side of the ledger are at lest entries that probably contain significant text about them that helps trace their lives.
Edward Winslow is one such person in my lineage. He isn’t my grandfather but is rather my uncle, thus information about him contains data that I want for my ancestral records.
