Records of the Town of East Hampton

If your ancestors lived in a fairly small community for a long time, you’ll quickly findeasthamptonrecords that you are related to ta large percentage of the folks in that area.

I found this to be true yet again when I started working on my ancestral families in East Hampton, New York.  Volume 5 of the Records of the Town of East Hampton is almost like reading a family diary.  If your family lived there too, you’ll think the same thing when you scan through its pages.

Volume 5 isn’t full of vital records, although there are some, but is is full of snippets from the lives of your family as seen through the eyes of the town council and clerk.

Once again, Thanks Google Books!

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
