FamilySearch Indexing ~ The Happening Place

The volunteers at FamilySearch Indexing are making “it” happen.  The 1940 U.S.fsindexing2 Census indexing project is moving ahead at a significant pace thanks to everyone who is helping complete this task.

I’ve watched the progress of all of the indexing projects currently underway at FamilySearch.  The volume and quality of the transcriptions are both exceptional.

If you haven’t joined in the fun, visit the FamilySearch Indexing site, download the tool and then a batch of images and go to work.  You’ll quickly discover a deep appreciation for the original recorders and the fact that the records have survived so we can enjoy them today in our world of technological wizardry.
