One of the great things about having ancestors from early New England is that they are frequently chronicled in genealogy and historical books. Some of the books basically quote each other but many were written by authors who although not necessarily contemporary to the people in the books, at least lived in the area and had access to source materials not popularized across every bookstore.
Early New England People by Sarah Elizabeth Titcomb is one of the “keeper” books that I’ve added to my library.
Thanks to Google Books, it is available to everyone.
