FamilySearch Indexing ~ Known Issues

If you are a FamilySearch Indexers, you may be making your work harder. Did you fail to read the “Known Issues” FamilySearch Wiki article associated with the project you are indexing?

Be sure to take a few minutes before you start a new title and read the known issues wiki article for it.  Indexing will go smoother If you subsequently encounter one of the known problems with the records.

Also, as a genealogy researcher, you’ll be well served by reading the issues articles too. There may be missing or damaged pages, etc., that could impact your research results.  The missing page(s), images or location of additional records will be listed in the article.
