Researchers with ancestors in Plymouth, Massachusetts usually find members ofVital Records of Carver, Massachusetts to 1850 their ancestral families have moved a few miles west to Carver, Massachusetts.

Fortunately for us, the town of Carver participated in the Vital Records project that created vital records books (the “Tan Books”) to the year 1850 for most towns in Massachusetts.

Thanks to the town clerks, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the funding gifts, the transcribers that created the original books and of course now to Google Books for putting the books online.
