Script Tutorials ~ Resources for Old Handwriting and Documents ~ Center for Family History and Genealogy at BYU

The good folks at the Center for Family History and Genealogy at Brigham Young University continue to Wow and Amaze family history researchers.

As a continuation of an earlier post, family history researchers of many European languages should stop what they are doing and take the Old  Handwriting and Document courses before they spend more time trying to puzzle out the old text.

Not all of the courses have been completed as of the date of this posting but they are being developed.  If you find that the tutorial you are interested in isn’t online yet, click on the link on that page and send an email to the folks in the BYU Family History Center.  They will in turn keep you up-to-date with its status.

Take the time to complete the tutorials.  I guarantee you’ll be very well pleased with both the course and with the knowledge you gain.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
