Alabama on the FamilySearch Wiki

Alabama is getting ready to host a large genealogy conference.  I’ve heard from a several genealogy researchers saying how excited they are for the conference to start.

Thinking about their comments, I wondered how much information about Alabama is on the FamilySearch Wiki.  A quick visit to the main Alabama article resulted in a very pleasant surprise.  Wiki users interested in Alabama have obviously invested themselves in all things Alabama on the wiki.

Alabama related articles have exploded on the wiki.  They are full of excellent genealogy research resources, links and information.

Take a ‘few’ minutes and explore them, but be prepared for a Southern Welcome.  The main Alabama page says it well: “Welcome to Alabama, Heart of Dixie”.
