As a genealogy researcher you know that there are certain books out there that willNY_biographical_genealogical cause you to whoop with delight when you find them.

if you have ancestry in New York, the book “New York Genealogical and Biographical Record” will probably elicit that response when you discover what you are reading.  Hopefully you won’t be kicked out of the library when it happens. 

Of course, your whoops of delight are perfectly fine when you read its text at home thanks to Google Books.  Just don’t wake the baby or your spouse when you do your genealogy victory dance.
