The Conklings in America

As a descendant of the early American immigrants, Ananias and Mary Laudnerconklings_in_america Conkling, I’m always watching for more information about the family. 

Ananias was a glass-blower by trade, learning the skill in his native England.  The couple and their children initially settled in Salem, Massachusetts where he continued in his craft. 

Eventually, they moved to the Hamptons on northern Long Island where some of their children married into several other of my ancestral lines … the Mulford’s, Gardiners and Hedges.

Thanks to Google Books, Ira B. Conkling’s work, “The Conklings in America” is available online for us to enjoy at any time.
