Having famous ancestors is great when it comes to genealogy. A fairly large
number of my early American ancestors were on the Mayflower, so tracing my lineage to them and sometimes beyond has been relatively easy.
It is even better when your ancestor was not only well known in their day but they also chronicled their lives. Grandpa William Bradford was one of those ‘magic’ ancestors who filled all of the these requirements.
