An Introduction to DNA

I’m frequently asked why DNA is important as a tool in genealogy research.  They’veDNA_Double_Helix heard the term DNA but don’t understand its component parts nor how DNA tests can help them find and prove their ancestry.

I’ve often wished that I had a great presentation prepared that would capture their attention and teach on a memorable level.

Recently, “Miss Schwinge” created a great DNA presentation on Prezi.  It is replete with great graphics, brief informative text and short videos.

You’ll enjoy the presentation even if you are already well-versed in DNA theory and fact.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
