WWII ~ Eat More Corn, Oats and Rye

Rationing was in almost every facet of life in America during World War II.  High protein foods like, wheat, meat, sugar and fats needed to go to the troupes to keep their energy levels high.

Every visit to grocery stores, public buildings and government office presented dozens of rationing related posters to remind the populace to support the war effort.
