New Zealand Historical Records

The New Zealand historical records search and order site functions just like we wish all similar sites would work.  The design is excellent and easy to use.

Click on the Search link, select the record type, enter a family name and range of years and the results are presented in an easily readable format. 

To protect the privacy of living individuals, the results will only be presented for births that occurred at least 100 years ago, marriages at least 80 years ago and deaths at least 50 years ago.

Additionally, the ordering process of birth, marriage and death certificates couldn’t be easier.  Simply copy the record number found in your search and add it to the order form.  Payments are completed using your credit card in New Zealand dollars.

From personal experience, I know that orders are processed quickly and even overseas delivery is fast.   Obtaining primary source materials for your New Zealand ancestors couldn’t be easier.
