Like many of you, my ancestry traces through the Burgess family in Plymouthburgess_genealogy County, Massachusetts.  In my case, I descend through the family numerous times.

One of the reference books I used when working on that family was Ebenezer Burgess book, “Burgess Genealogy: Memorial of the family of Thomas and Dorothy Burgess who were settled at Sandwich in the Plymouth colony in 1637.

Other books about the family have been written since but Ebenezer’s book long held the title as the definitive work.

Thanks to Google Books, we can read his work online at home at anytime.
