The Town of Plymouth, Massachusetts is home to numerous cemeteries which of course are of interest to genealogists. Plymouth is rich with historical sites, history and venues that draw family history buffs for visits. Its cemeteries certainly rank high on the list of visited attractions.
Fortunately for researchers, the Plymouth website includes excellent links to pages for each of the cemeteries that detail their location as well as providing links to map sites and Find-a-grave.
Of especial interest to me and many of you, the Burial Hill page includes two links at the bottom of the page to two .PDF files that detail the burials in the cemetery. The largest of the two files is invaluable. I wish I’d had it over the years as I’ve made pilgrimages there searching the names on the stones in my ancestral quest.
If you have had ancestors who may have been buried on Burial Hill, don’t hesitate do download these files. You’ll find that your time and the bandwidth have both been well spent.Copyright (c) Lee Drew 2013-04-26 07:00:00
