Births in Boston were faithfully recorded on two volumes until 1745; after that date, they were recorded in multiple repositories.
The book, “Boston Births from A.D. 1700 to A.D. 1800 Volume 24” reflects that issue. Although its pages are full of births, we can see that only a tithe of the probable births in the last half of the century are included on its pages.
As genealogy researchers, we are always appreciative for any primary source records and this book certainly falls securely in the appreciative category.
Thanks to Google Books, we can read the tome online at any time.
