4th of July in Days Gone By

Not many of us remember streets lined with vehicles like those seen in the image below unless like me, you grew up on a small rural farm town where money was tight and vehicles were repaired, patched and babied to squeeze every last mile out of their old frames.

The flags on the 4th of July lined the streets just like these during my youth.  Good memories of the times and of the patriotic actions were exhibited by the citizen in those distant days.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
