What is different about the men and women who work the high iron than the rest of us? Do they perceive fear with radically different reference points? It is obviously possible to learn balance and considered movements when walking and sitting on 6” iron but is it an inherited trait or a learned skill? I think it is both.
Here’s a salute to all of you iron workers everywhere. If this senior citizen could still be an efficient worker at his age at an altitude higher than the Chrysler Building, the rest of us are probably living far beneath our potential.
