Wiki Editor Plugin for Notepad++

Many genealogy researchers are also contributors and editors to various genealogy related wiki’s.   Most of my wiki contributions are on the FamilySearch Wiki.

While I don’t mind the native Mediawiki editor nor the FCK editor extension used on that site, I tend to do much of my original coding using Notepad++.

If you are used to coding, you undoubtedly have Notepad++ installed on your computer and use it constantly for small to even very large projects.  Add the Wiki Editor Plugin to Notepad++ and you have a slick wiki editor as well.

Get Notepad++ here.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
