A History of the Pequot War by Lion Gardiner

My ancestor, Lion Gardiner, was a man of action and deeds.  His life has beenpequot_war_lion_gardiner documented in many tomes and publications over the centuries.

Lion himself, was the author of the most famous of them; A History of the Pequot War.

Penned prior to his death in 1665, the book is introduced by a letter by Sir Henry Vane, the Governor to John Winthrop Jun. Esq., the Governor of Connecticut.

Enjoy reading the story that Lion relates about the early interaction and battles between the European settlers and the Pequot tribe of Narraganset Bay.
