An Ocean And A Continent Couldn’t Keep Them Apart

Heidi Nass moved to Oakland, California with her brother from their native home in Jetland, Sweden leaving the love of her life, Gustav Bohlin behind.

Ten years went by but their love wasn’t lost.  Unable to stay apart any longer, Gustav boarded a boat and sailed to New York.  Heidi boarded a train and traveled there as well.

The young couple met, toured the city and then boarded a train back to Oakland where they married in Heidi’s brother.

Time and distance lost out to love.
