Scots–Irish Settlers in the Valley of Virginia

I hadn’t realized how large the population of Scots and Irish was in Virginia in theScotch Irish settlers in the valley of Virginia 1700’s and early 1800’s until I found my own Scots ancestors living there.

Interested in the history of these people, I looked for a book that chronicled their society and the events the led to their relocation to America.

Bolivar Christian’s book, “The Scotch-Irish settlers in the valley of Virginia – Alumni Address at Washington College, Lexington, VA.” was one of the first on the subject that I encountered.

Hopefully, it will useful to you as well.

Thanks to Google Books, we can read it at our leisure at home at any time of the day.
