A History of Moray and Nairn

A fairly large slice of my ancestors lived in Morayshire, Scotland. They belonged to amoray_nairn number of clans and groups extending back to the Picts.

Stories about these early Scots has always been fascinating among movie makers and folks who trace their lineage to that northern land.

Tracing my Scots lineage has been a challenge for all the typical reasons associated with early records.

Facts alone don’t tell their stories. Should I tell our family to go watch Brave Heart and accept the movie script as a representative sample of the lives of our ancestors?

No. I needed more facts and information.   Turning to Google Books, I found the book “A History of Moray and Nairn” by Charles Joseph Gallari Rampini to aid in my research.

Thanks Google!
