The Plantagenet Book

If you have traced your lineage back fare enough to encounter English Royalty,Plantagenet_book you’ve probably encountered the family known as Plantagenet.

There were many members of that family through out a number of generations.  In many cases we find them with the Plantagenet surname and often we find them with their first name, title or location as their surname.

Fortunately for researchers, the family is well documented.

Thanks to Google Books, one of those documentary book series is found online in their collection.

Volume 1 of the series “Plantagent” by John Macrone is in my own library.  It isn’t a names and dates book that most genealogists seek but is rather a semi-factual book of fiction that gives us insight in to the lives of these folks.

About lineagekeeper

Family history research is a favored avenue of relaxation. It is a Sherlock-like activity that can continue almost anywhere at any time. By leveraging a lifetime involvement in technology, my research efforts have resulted in terabytes of ancestral data, earning me the moniker of Lineagekeeper. And yes - We are all related to Royalty.
