He worked for the Holt Company. ********** "The man who built the trestles name was Jenson. He was a Dane, and Ross's construction man and head carpenter. Ellis Drew married his daughter. Ellis's brother, Solon, was killed in the mine and buried in Copperopolis cemetery. His sister, Julia Tower, taught school. The accident happened in the Union shaft.
