  Notes	Great Great Grandfather, Jonathan Montgomery was born in Maryland, Oct. 28, 1807 and moved to Ohio as a young man. In 1863 he moved from Wayne County, Ohio to Macon County, MO and purchased a farm in Ten Mile Township. In Ohio he married Mary Eagle, born May 1,1807 in Southern Ohio. "He raised a large family of boys with his wife of over 50 years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church." This is from an obituary for Jonathan. Jonathan is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Macon, MO. Jonathan was from Maryland and moved to Ohio where he married Mary Eagle. The family moved to Missouri in 1863. Jonathan purchased a farm in Ten Mile Township, Macon Co. MO. "He raised a large family of boys. Six of these and his wife of over 50 years survive him. Some three or four years ago he moved to Macon since he was no longer able to manage the farm". This is from an old obituary. **Samuel's birth date is - 1840 (?)
