  Notes	[GEORGE SAMPSON TO GEORGE SAMPSON, JR.] "George Sampson of plimton In the County of plymouth .... husband man for divers Good Causes and Consideration .... doth .... Quit his Clames unto George Sampson Junr of the Town and County afore said Yeoman .... All such Rights .... as he the said George Sampson had or ought to have given To All that Land laying on the south side of winnatuxet River In plymton aforesaid which the aforesaid George Samson bought of Capn Joseph Howlland decesed Eccepting two acres wich was sold To mr malloson with buldings and fencings thereon and also Half that Lot of maddow wich the afroresaid Sampson bought of the aforesaid Howlland Lying one The south side of said River In plimton aforesd To have and to hold all the said Lands meadows and Buldings with fencings unto him the sd George Sampson Junr.... for the space of five years and Three months next Insuing the date hereof" The deed was dated 27 March, 1730, and was signed by a mark. The witnesses were Zachariah Soule and Deborah Samson, the latter signing by a mark. [7]
