Pleasant Grove -- Funeral services for Cindy Lou Edwards, 18, Pleasant Grove, who died April 17, 1975 of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in American Fork, will be Saturday 11 a.m., Olpin Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove, where friends call Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday hour before services. Burial, Alpine City Cemetery.
Born Jan. 1, 1957, Provo, to Drew V. and Irene Bennett Edwards. Member LDS Church.

Funeral Rites Held for Accident Victim
Funeral services for Cindy Edwards, 18, of Pleasant Grove, who died in an automobile accident in American Fork on Thursday, April 17, 1975 were held Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Miss Edwards was a passenger in a car driven by Bert James Durrant, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Durrant of American Fork. He was injured and so were two other passengers, Sharron Kerby, 18, of Safford, Arizona and Steven D. Hardman, 19, of American Fork, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Hardman.
According to Jay Storrs of the American Fork Police Department, the car was westbound on 700 North when it collided with a backhoe at 600 East. The accident occurred at 2:10 a.m.
The backhoe belongs to Holdaway Construction Co. and there was a flasher barricade at the site, said Mr. Storrs.
This is the fifth highway fatality in Utah County this year, according to a Utah Highway Patrol spokesman.
Miss Edwards was born January 1, 1957 in Provo a daughter of Drew V. and Irene Bennett Edwards. She attended Pleasant Grove schools and was a member of the Pleasant Grove 10th LDS Ward.
Survivors include her parents; six brothers and five sisters, Drew V. Edwards, Orem; Mrs. Robert (Ronda) Amacher, Huntington, Emery County; Mrs. Jimmy (Parleen) Autry, Fort Lewis, Washington; Jason, Jeff, Lorna, Parley Si, Bennett, Rachel, Phillip and Joe Ann Edwards all of Pleasant Grove; grandparents, Mrs. Clara Edwards, Pleasant Grove adn Mrs. Alberta Bennett, Alpine.
