She preceded him in death. He was a lieutenant colonel in the Army Air Corps. He attended the University of Denver and graduated from Yale University. He was also a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a member of the Denver Country Club, the University Club, the Alberg Club and the Riverside Duck Club. He is survived by two sons, William Edward Jr., and Rollie Wilbur, both of Denver; a daughter, Margaret Bell, Denver; and two grandchildren .
