  	John Elvin Bennett Obituary John Elvin Bennett 1923 ~2008 MAGNA - John Elvin Bennett died Nov. 7, 2008 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Mar. 31, 1923 to Elbert Clifton and Dora Mae Evans Bennett . He was raised in Garfield, Utah and worked for KCC for 42 years. He married Donna Leone Quayle on May 20, 1943 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a dedicated member of the LDS Church, faithfully serving in many callings. Dad loved the Lord with all his heart and soul and family was most important in his life. The only thing he ever complained about was his earlobes. He served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Enterprise and was active with the Boy Scouts of America, earning a Silver Beaver Award. Survived by wife, Leone; children, John , Wayne (Penny), Nancy (Dick), Susan (Jeff); 19 grandchildren, and 46 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, son, David Paul; grandson, Mark; siblings, Wilma, Beth, Thelma, David, Chloe Mary, and Nancy. Special thanks to Dr. Roy Gandolphi, Paula, and all the great people of Hospice for Utah. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Thurs., Nov. 13th at the Magna Central Stake, 8181 W. 3320 So. Family and friends may call Wed. Nov 12, 2008, 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., and Thurs. from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Lake Hills Cemetery.
