      Mrs. A. Bennett, died at Norway on the 21st inst., aged 71 years. She had been an invalid for more than fifteen years. A kinder, better woman than Mrs. Rachael Bennett never lived.

      December 28, 1893:

      Died: Rachel Anderson Bennett, born in Clinton County, Ohio, December 3, 1822, moved to Warren County, Ohio in 1838, and married Abram Bennett on June 30, 1839. She was the mother of eight boys and three girls. She died December 21, at the age of 71y 18d. She came to Kansas in March 1857. Two of her children got to attend the funeral, they were: Ada Downing, of Home, Kansas and A. E. Bennett, Benedict, Michigan. Eight of her children are living, 2 in Kansas, 2 in Nebraska, 3 in Utah and 1 in Missouri.
