  	To this Court is produced to be inrolled a copy of the Will of Martha Hoggard late of Edwinstowe in the County of Nottingham bearing date the tenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and twenty six the tenor whereof as far as relates to her Copyhold hereditaments and premises within the said Manor is as follows viz: First I will and Direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be fully paid and satisfied by my Executor hereinafter named out of my personal Estate. I Give and Devise unto my Son William Hoggard of Edwinstowe aforesaid Blacksmith. All that Dwellinghouse or Tenement wherein I now dwell together with the Homestead or Croft adjoining thereto And also all that piece or parcel of land situate lying and being upon the Forest of Edwinstowe aforesaid containing four acres or thereabouts be the same more or less and now in my own possession, To hold to him my said Son William Hoggard his heirs and assigns forever. I give and Bequeath unto him the said William Hoggard all the working tools now used or employed in or about the trade or business of a Blacksmith now carried on by me at Edwinstowe aforesaid. Also I give and Bequeath unto Ann the wife of Joseph Boam of Mansfield in the said County of Nottingham and Mary Wright of the same place, Widow the Legacy or Sum of One hundred pounds each and to my Daughter Elizabeth Webster of Edwinstowe aforesaid Widow the sum of twenty pounds to be paid at the end of twelve Calendar months next after my decease. Also I give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth the wife of my late Son Samuel Hoggard interest for the sum of one hundred pounds after the rate of five per centum per annum for and during the term of her natural life to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named by two equal half yearly payments the first of such payments to be made at the end of Six Calendar months after my decease and from and immediately after her decease I give and Bequeath unto all and every the Child and Children of my said late Son Samuel Hoggard the sum of Two hundred pounds to be equally divided amongst them share and share alike to be paid to them by my said Executor within twelve Calendar months next after the decease of the said Elizabeth Hoggard. And it is my mind and will and I do hereby direct that the said Elizabeth Hoggard shall have the use of the room in said Dwelling house which she now occupies for and during the term of her natural life provided she continues a Widow and unmarried. Also I give Devise and Bequeath unto my Son John Hoggard of Walesby in the said County of Nottingham Blacksmith All the rest residue and remainder of my Messauages Cottages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate as well freehold as copyhold situate and being at Edwinstowe aforesaid or elsewhere. And Also all the residue and remainder of my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever To hold to him my said Son John Hoggard his heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever according to the nature of the same estates respectively Subject nevertheless to and charged and chargeable with the payments and legacies by me hereinafter bequeathed. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my said Son John Hoggard sole Executor for this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me at anytime made. To this Court comes William Hoggard of Edwinstowe in the County of Nottingham Blacksmith a Son and Devisee named in the last Will and Testament of Martha Hoggard late of Edwinstowe aforesaid Widow deceased in his proper person and craves leave of the Lord of the said Manor to be admitted tenant to All that Cottage house or tenement with the Homestead or Croft thereto adjoining and belonging containing one acre and sixteen perches (more or less) situate and being in the Town of Edwinstowe aforesaid within the said Manor now in the occupation of the said William Hoggard Also al lthat allotment piece or parcel of land situate upon the ... page missing.
