| Notes |
- Alice Florence Anderson, daughter of James H. and Princess A. Anderson, who was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, June 4, 1871, and died of pneumonia, at 5 o'clock A. M., Thursday, January 24, 1895, at the St. Vincent Sanitarium, Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she was sojourning with her mother and brother, Lieut. James T. Anderson, U. S. A., both of whom were invalids.
Though an invalid from infancy, and never very strong, Alice was a scholar, a graceful writer, a wit, and was passionately fond of sketching and painting, in which she excelled. She left sketches and portraits that show good artistic talent. [1]
