  	Laura Elaine Logie Larsen 3/16/1923 ~ 6/25/2005 Utah native, Laura Elaine Logie Larsen, died Saturday morning, June 25, 2005 in her home in Alamo, California, of age-related illnesses. She was born March 16, 1923 in Provo, Utah to Roland Delano Logie and Laura Holman. She lived in Provo and Salt Lake, attending local schools and graduated from the University of Utah in 1942, as a Registered Nurse through County Hospital. She first worked at Ft. Douglas Veterans Center during World War II, later working in nursing throughout the 11 western states, settling in California. Laura married Udell McKay Larsen on March 29, 1946. Survivors are her husband, Udell, sons Randall of Honolulu and Kim of Las Vegas, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her sister, Donna Harding of St. George. Preceding her in death were brothers, Roland, Wallace and Merlin Logie and her parents. Laura devoted her life to nursing service and children, and is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral services are on Friday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Dr., Holladay, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment is at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City.
