- George MORTON came to N.E. in July 1623, in the ship Ann; settled at Plymouth, and d. in June 1624, leaving a widow and 4 children: Nathaniel; John; Patience; and Ephraim, who was representative of Plymouth in 1692. Nathaniel:, b. in Eng abt. 1612, came over with father in 1623 and was admitted freeman in 1635, m. Lydia Cooper the same year, and had 8 children. Lydia d. 1673, Nathaniel married then Ann Templar, a widow of Charlestown. Nathaniel d. 28 Jun 1685".
