    Notes 
    • Christopher emigrated to America aboard the William and Francis in 1632; was an original grantee of Hampton, New Hampshire. His will was made 26 Feb 1684/5 with codicil 28 October and he died 6 Mar 1685/6 in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.

      Christopher and his family moved to Lynn and then Newbury, Massachusetts where he was elected a selectman in 1636. In 1638, they along with his father-in-law, Stephen Batchelder moved to Hampton, New Hampshire, which at the time was still part of Massachusetts.

      He was the first Deacon at Sagus (Lynn), Massachusetts. Deacon Hussey was a captain in the militia and a magistrate; town-clerk, selectman and representative; and when New Hampshire was made a royal province, he was one of the councillors named in the royal commission.

      They all remained in Hampton for the remainder of their lives. [5]
