  Notes	Notes for ISABELLA BLAND: Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire page 69 Francis. His lot at Dedham had passed to Francis Chickering before 1640. Land grants in Hampton, to himself 30 June 1640, to his widow 13 July 1642. She was Isabel [p.69] Bland, daughter of Mr. John and Isabel Smith alias Bland of Martha's Vinyard. Cf. Banks M. V. ii. He quickly died and she married Thomas Leavitt. Known children: Isabella, b. c. 1633, married Philip Towle. Jemaima, bp. with Keziah, married John Knowles. Keziah, baptized 24 Jan. 1641, called Tucker in wills of step-father and mother, living at a distance, possibly mother of Samuel of Chatham
