Copies of data on Elizabeth & Timothy Chandler are listed verbatium from the History of Sanbornton below:

Elizabeth2 Dow (Henry1, Thomas A, Thomas B) was born in Amesbury, Essex, MA October 12, 1702. She married Jonathan Copp date unknown in Amesbury, Essex, MA. Jonathan was born October 9, 1699. Jonathan was the son of Aaron Copp and Mary Heath. Jonathan died date unknown in Sanbornton, Belknap, NH, at age unknown. Conflicting evidence states that Jonathan was born October 7, 1699 in Haverhill, Essex, Ma. When Jonathan was age 20 and Elizabeth Dow was age 17 they became the parents of Soloman Copp March 3, 1720/1721 in Amesbury, Essex, MA.

TIMOTHY CHANDLER (b. 15 Aug 1733, d. 24 Mar 1770, of Concord, son of John Chandler). He is listed as husband of ELIZABETH COPP b. 16 Apr 1740. She is daughter of SOLOMON COPP (spelled 'Cope' on the Petition of 1768). He was originally from Amesbury, Mass. He married ELIZABETH DAVIS,of Amesbury, and lived three years in the fort at Canterbury before coing to this town. His was the second family in Sanbornton, and settled below Mohawk Point, building their first house on the Bay shore, at the east end of the second range line, back of the late Misses Philbrick's, and near what has since been known as the 'Boundary Tree.' This house was subsequently moved up the shore to the present H. Q. Dalton's and finally to the spot directly opposite Mohawk Point, where he died (probably), May 8, 1796. She d. Oct. 21, 1822, ae. 100 years, less 13 days, and hence b. Nov. 3, 1722. One of her younger children would have been 'the first born in Sanbornton,' had she not revisited Canterbry a short time before its birth, whence she is said to have returned with the child in her arms, and a bushel of corn meal upon her back, wading across the Winnipiseogee River, at the well-known shallow place below the Plains! No complete birth record of these children has been found. The major part were born before their parents came to town, and one or two perhaps in Canterbury.
