  	Karen Huggard Madsen Rudolph Obituary Karen Huggard Madsen Rudolph Our loving, unselfish, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Karen Rayma Huggard Madsen Rudolph, passed away on March 13, 2009 of complications due to renal failure. She was born July 10, 1936 in Helper, Utah, the beloved daughter of Melvin Greenwood and Eldean Barney Huggard. She and her family then moved to American Fork where she made her home for many years. She also lived in Midway, Heber City and Orem. She was married to Clifford Madsen in the Salt Lake Temple on Feb 10, 1955. They were later divorced but remained good friends. Together they had 4 children. She then married and had 2 sons and later divorced. Karen was a great example of true selflessness and compassion. She had a strong work ethic and made lasting friendships during her employment at Utah State Training School and Lindon Care Center where she lovingly cared for those with disabilities. She humbly and quietly gave all she had. These tender traits will be cherished by all that knew her. She had a great love and faith in the Savior and trusted in Him. She is survived by 3 daughters and 3 sons: Terri Bronson, Heber City; Kelly Madsen, American Fork; Lori (Bryce) Thomas, Lehi; Michelle (Ross) Huff, Riverton; Brett (Nadeane)Madsen, Herriman; Dustin (Kim) Madsen, Eagle Mt.; a dear brother, Garth (Fay) Huggard; a sweet sister Jolene DeMarco, American Fork; 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 12 noon in the American Fork 18th Ward, 380 South 300 East, American Fork. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork and Wednesday one hour prior to services Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
