  	Barbara Bell Hansen Young Obituary Deseret News 23 Aug 2011 Barbara Hansen Young "The Bell of Emery" Barbara Young, 87, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. Barbara was born October 23, 1923 in Hiawatha, Utah, the youngest of 11 children, to Andrew and Nora Hansen. She married Milton Young on May 24, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Milton passed away in 2002. Barbara grew up on the family ranch near Emery, Utah. She graduated from South Emery High School. Barbara attended Stevens-Henager Business College where she met Milton. She was an accredited Scandinavian Genealogist and spent years helping others discover their roots. Barbara was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings during her life. She and Milton cherished their time spent serving in the Stockholm Sweden Mission. She is survived by her six children: Kenneth (Renata) Young, St. George; Ralph (Carolyn) Young, Taylorsville; Dean (Irene) Young, Murray; David (Linda) Young, American Fork; Beth Ann (Benjamin) Winkler, Payson; Mark (Kristine) Young, Spanish Fork; 28 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon and granddaughter, Maria. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Murray Eleventh Ward Chapel, 5735 South Fashion Blvd. (approx. 200 East), Murray. Family and friends may attend a viewing Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Elysian Gardens Cemetery, Murray.
