A very pretty home wedding was that solemnized at the home of Mr. J. C. Bennett, Wednesday night, when their eldest daughter, Genevieve, was given in marriage to Mr. Wilson McClelland, a popular young gentleman, of King's Mills. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. D. Dunham, of the Universalist church, and was witnessed by about 150 near relatives and friends of the two families. The attendants were Miss Sallie McClelland and Mr. J. C. Wilson. The bride was attired in a white crepe du chine gown, while the groom wore the conventional black. A delightful supper followed the ceremony, and a number of toasts in honor of the newly-married couple was offered. The happy couple were the recipients of a large number of handsome and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. McClelland left yesterday afternoon for New York and Pennsylvania, where they will visit relatives and friends. Prominent in attendance from a distance were, among others, Dr. and Mrs. Morrell, of Cincinnati; Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Whitaker, of Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Shepherd, of Middleton.
