Therisa Elsa Miller Clements, born January 4, 1944 to Herbert Karl and Evelynn Bennett Miller. Graduated Pleasant Grove, Utah, 1962. Attended BYU on an art scholarship until 1963. She was the first attendant in Miss Pleasant Grove Pageant, 1962.
Therisa married Jack Clements June 21, 1963 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple May 1964. She served many callings in the church as teacher, including Young Women's and Scouting. She was also secretary in other organizations in the church.She enjoyed many hobbies, art, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, music, visits from friends and grandchildren. She was a member of the Timpanogas Gem and Mineral Society. She was also a beautiful seamstress.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie L. Clements, Provo; and nine children, Karl (Julie) Clements, Provo; Ben Clements, Provo; Dan Clements, Provo; Janice (Joe) Jiminez, Colorado; Alisa Clements, Provo; Kimberly (Chris) Bevard, Eureka; Jason Clements, Provo; Sarah (Robert) Pullman, Provo; Deborah Clements, also of Provo; 17 grandchildren; one sister, Lydia (John) Brown, New Jersey; and one brother, Dean (Marie) Miller, Payson, Utah. Preceded in death by brother, Leonard Miller, daughter-in-law, Lockey Clements and grandchildren, Anthony Clements and Montana Clements.
Funeral services will be at Grandview 2nd Ward, 850 West 1120 North, Provo, Utah Wednesday, May 15, at 2 p.m. No viewing will be held.
