- Seeh - Adams Wedding
Simplicity marked the pre-Christmas wedding of Miss Emma Katharine Adams and Jack E. Seeh which took place at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in St. John's Evangelical church. A romance which had it incipiency during high school days in the Van Cleve school, from which the couple were graduated in the same class, led up to the exchange of vows while the minister, Rev. J. J. Kalkbrenner, recited the impressive double ring service.
Only the members of the immdeiate families and a group of intimate friends of the couple were privileged to attend the ceremony. Those present from other cities were Charles Beeh, father of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Jennie Seeh, his grandmother, both of Dayton; Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Munger, Miss Louise Munger, and Miss Mary Adams of Piqua.
An arrangement of tratling smilax about the chaneel rail end a large basket filled with scarlet poinsettias and freezia on the altar formed an effective Christmas setting.
Preceeding the ceremony, a program of organ nuptal music was furnished by Miss Caroline Botenhart.
The bride wore a smart coat suit fashioned from hunter-green cloth and grey fox collar, a blouse of white lame, grey hat and other matching accessories. Her flowers were Tallsman roses worn in a shoulder corsage.
Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Seeh drove to Columbus where they spent the night and from there motored to Cleveland on Christmas Day. They were honor guests at a turkey dinner served Christmas night in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Dennis.
Mrs. Seeh is an only child of Mr. and Mrs. Everett W. Adams, 920 East Maine Street. She is widely knowin in Troy music circles for her ability as a pianist and has been employed as organist the last eight years in St. John's Evangelical Church. She is a member of the Troy Music club.
Since her graduation Mrs. Seeh has been employeed as a stenographer, her last position being with the Troy Sunshade company. A number of pre-nuptial social functions were arranged by her friends who showered her with gifts for her new home.
Mr. Seeh is in the employ of the Fisher Body company, Cleveland. Mr. and Mrs. Seeh will establish their new home in Cleveland.
