Florence Okey Dies in Provo.
American Fork -- Funeral services for Florence Lillian Thrasher Okey, 73, 87 E. 200 S., American Fork, who died Friday evening at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel.
Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
Mrs. Okey was born Sept. 13, 1898, in North Loup, Neb., a daughter of James Finley and Ernestine Dininger Thrasher. She married Roy Okey on Oct. 24, 1917 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mrs. Okey was active in the LDS Church, working in the Fifth Ward Relief Society.
Survivors include her husband, American Fork; three daughters, Mrs. Stanford (Helen) Dahl, American Fork; Mrs. David (Jean) Teague, Fremont, Calif.; Mrs. Paul (Lucile) Evans, Lehi; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Edwin J. Thrasher, Lehi; Mrs. Della Wallhood, Garden Grove, Calif.
